Data protection

Your personal data must be stored securely and confidentially pursuant to the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data (Persondataloven).

MatchWork complies with Danish legislation governing the protection of personal data, and MatchWork has been authorised as a data controller by the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). MatchWork is data controller and data processor for Ofir career site products and the registration is available on the website of the Danish Data Protection Agency – see registration (in Danish).

It is a major priority for MatchWork that data is highly protected in connection with the use of Ofir career site. Consequently, it is highly important to MatchWork that no personal data – provided by the users of Ofir career site – is disclosed to any unauthorised third party.

MatchWork will do its utmost to keep a stringent and high level data protection. We will store your personal data on computers/servers with limited access in controlled facilities, and our security measures are checked on a regular basis to ascertain that our user data is handled safely and with due consideration of your user rights. For data transfers via the Internet, data is secured through encrypted connections (https/SSL).

When processing electronic job applications in a Ofir career site career site, MatchWork acts as data processor and data controller for the Company. Collection of personal data

MatchWork collects data on the users in various ways in connection with their use of Ofir career site.

Username and password

When you have registered as a user for certain services and offers on Ofir career site, you will receive a username and a password to be used when you want to log into the service or offer in question.

As a user, you are responsible for safely storing the username and password you receive in connection with Ofir career site, and you are obliged to inform MatchWork immediately in case of abuse or risk of abuse of the username and password.

MatchWork is entitled, without previous notice or reason, to terminate or limit a user’s access to and use of the username and password and thus the services in question. In such case, MatchWork is not liable in damages to the user or any third-party.

The user will hold MatchWork harmless in respect of any third-party claim arising from or in connection with the user’s illegal use of a username and password related to Ofir career site or use giving rise to liability.

MatchWork encourages you as a user to change your password often, at least once a month, to prevent any abuse.

Registration of personal data

Users of Ofir career site authorise MatchWork to process and store the keyed in and attached data and to share the data with the Company.

The purpose of collecting personal data in connection with an application is to assess and contact candidates who are interested in and qualify for relevant positions.

Users are encouraged to solely provide the personal data needed for meeting the requirements of the service.

MatchWork undertake as both the data processor and the data controller to process personal data confidentially and exclusively for the stated purpose.

Processing of personal data

MatchWork places great weight on protecting privacy. Personal data will not be disclosed to other individuals or enterprises unless explicitly accepted by the customer.

Unless otherwise stated in respect of a specific service or offer, the information provided by the users of Ofir career site will be processed only by MatchWork.

Further, MatchWork reserves the right to disclose your information if Danish law prescribes such disclosure or if it is indispensable to police investigation into criminal incidents, or if there is reason to suspect illegal activity.

MatchWork exclusively stores the personal data for as long as necessary to provide the user with the service or offer in question. If a user is inactive for more than 12 months, all personal information and associated data will be deleted.

If your personal data is processed, you are entitled under the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data to be informed of the personal data processed. If it turns out that the processed information or data relating to you is incorrect or misleading, you are entitled to demand that such information or data be corrected, deleted or blocked. Please contact MatchWork by email with all inquiries regarding your personal data support@ofir.com.

You may object to the processing of your personal data at any time. You may also withdraw your consent at any time. You may complain about the processing of your information and personal data. Such complaint must be filed with the Danish Data Protection Agency, cf section 58(1) of the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data.

The implication of the rapid development of the Internet is that it may be necessary to alter our processing of personal data. Consequently, we reserve the right to update and change these guidelines on the processing of personal data. In the event of changes, we will of course change the date of "last updated" at the end of this text. We will make a visible statement on our website of any major changes.

Email service / Granting of permission

When granting permission, a user authorises MatchWork to send the user marketing emails.

With any application via MatchWork career sites, the applicant will automatically be enrolled in a service where the applicant receives job listings that have the same characteristics as the job sought based on job description and geography. This means that upon application it equals a permission to Matchwork.

The user may opt out of the email services at any time, and the permission will lapse.

Disclaimer

Although MatchWork’s data security is of a high standard, unfortunately it is not possible to warrant complete security for data which is transmitted to, from or via Ofir career site. When data is sent and stored electronically, there is always a risk that other parties gain unauthorised access to protected data. MatchWork disclaims any responsibility for any data security breaches. Further, MatchWork accepts no responsibility for any third-party violation of the confidentiality of correspondence, including in connection with transmission of emails or hacking of IT systems owned by MatchWork.

Ofir career site contains links to other websites. MatchWork does not guarantee the quality or content on these websites, nor does MatchWork guarantee the circumstances relating to the natural or legal persons to whom Ofir career site arranges contact or links. Any content on Ofir career site stemming from a user is the relevant user’s responsibility alone, and MatchWork accepts no responsibility for any illegal content.

In connection with services and offers where users provide information to a third-party, MatchWork will in no way be responsible for such third-party’s data security and/or processing of personal data.

A user of Ofir career site cannot hold MatchWork accountable for any loss deriving from MatchWork’s updating or changing of services or offers. Further, MatchWork cannot be held accountable for any loss sustained by the user due to disruption to business operations or operational errors, regardless of the nature, including viruses. MatchWork accepts no responsibility for the loss of data.

The above disclaimers apply and comply with the statutory legal provisions in Denmark, unless otherwise stated.

Automated search on this career site

MatchWork and the Company requests that no automated search be made of the database content on this career site.

Disputes

In the event of a dispute between MatchWork/the Company and a user of the career site arising from or in connection with a websites from MatchWork/the Company or any related circumstances, such dispute shall be settled before a Danish court of law pursuant to Danish law.

Validity

These Terms and Conditions were updated on 3 September 2019 and supersede any previous Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions will remain in force until the release of new Terms and Conditions.
